The Kiwanis Club of Lake Wales is a 70+ member civic organization, dedicated to
community service. Through our "Young Children- Priority One" program,
we devote much of our energies to serving, funding, and promoting programs
dedicated to our community's young people.
Who We Are, and What We Do
The Kiwanis Club of Lake Wales has been in existence for 75 years, and sponsors many events for the benefit of our community. We invite you to
attend, and enjoy a great time. We sponsor a number of events for children throughout the year, including
a Christmas Parade, an Easter Egg Hunt, and a Hallowe'en party. Our biggest annual event is our
Pancake Breakfast and Auction, at which we raise the funds that support our programs
throughout the year.Kiwanis is named after a Native American word meaning
"to express one's self."
The Kiwanis Club is an international service organization, open to both men
and women. We donate more than $20,000 each year to area youth activites. We also
sponsor youth clubs in area colleges, high schools, middle
schools, and elementary schools, under the Circle K, Key Club, Builders Club, and K-Kids banners.
Our meetings are held each Thursday at noon at
the Lake Wales Country Club, SR 60 East. For more information, please check out our

us for smiles, and an interesting program.
